Psycowpath Racing is partnering with the CSG Mountain Bike Race to bring more people together to race bikes.

Race through the sandy hillsides next to Branched Oak Lake. Sound flat? Think again! The guys from Cycle Works will guarantee a professional event complete with grilled meats and cold drinks! Come out and support mountain biking in Nebraska!

No USAC license required to race. This is not a USAC sanctioned event. Racers competing will follow all CSG rules. Points will be given to all Psycowpath Series racers and be applied to their season totals. This race has no bearing on any racer's USAC rankings.

MULTI-EVENT DISCOUNT NOTE: If registering for multiple events, all entries must occur in the same transaction to receive the multi-event discount.

MULTI-EVENT CYCLING DISCOUNT: All Mountain Bike participants who register for Gravel Grinder and/or Tour will receive a $7 discount per additional event by entering coupon code CYCLE at checkout. All registrations must take place on the same transaction to receive the discount.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Competition in the 2019 Cornhusker State Games; White cotton athlete shirt (micro-fiber upgrade available); Pass for free admission to SportFest, the Opening Ceremonies, and all competition venues; 2018 Nebraska Sports Council Yearbook (available at packet pickup); Sponsor gifts and coupons.


NOTE: Racers must check in at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time.

Check In Opens – 6:30 a.m.

Junior 12 & Under Class – 7:30 a.m. start

Beginner (Cat 3)/Junior 13-15, 16-18/Marathon – 8 a.m. start

Sport (Cat 2/Expert (Cat 1) Classes – 10 a.m. start

SPECIAL NOTICE: State park permits are needed to enter Branched Oak State Recreation Area. One-day permits can be purchased at the park entrance.

LOCATION: The mountain bike course will be at AREA 7 at Branched Oak Lake. The course includes some rolling hills with a combination of dirt and grass surfaces. Distances listed are subject to change. 

RULES: All riders must wear ANSI-approved helmets. Riders are expected to ride safely and courteously. Director may shorten the distances in case of inclement weather.
